Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving!! While we remember to give thanks for the many fortunes in our lives, we must also remember those that are not so fortunate. Please do not forget to vote for Containers for a Cause during December. If nothing else, this is a project to help the impoverished in our community.
St. Augustine Lions Club presentation
We gave a presentation to the St. Augustine Lions Club this evening. They were very supportive of our initiatives in the community.
Home Again Committee
We met with the Home Again Committee this morning. As a committee that works to help feed the homeless in our community, they were very excited to hear about our project. Each member agreed to help us raise awareness about voting!
More Presentations!
We gave a presentation to the Kiwanis Club this afternoon! This is the second time they’ve listened to us speak about Containers for a Cause, and the second time they’ve given us helpful advice and insight. We also gave a presentation to the City Commission this morning! They’re all on board to vote!
Meeting with The Record
We met with The St. Augustine Record this morning to discuss Containers for a Cause! There will soon be an article in the newspaper to raise awareness about the project and voting in our community!
Learning to market
We met with Broadbased Communications in Jacksonville today. They gave us wonderful marketing advice and strategies on how we can effectively spread the word about voting!
Meetings
Students met today to continue coming up with ways to spread the word about voting in December! We’re all so hopeful…
Presentations
We gave a presentation to the St. Augustine Pilot’s Club this afternoon! They were all so wonderful and excited! It means so much to us as students to receive such support from the local community.
Sheriff Department
We had another excellent meeting with the Sheriff’s Department today. They are very enthusiastic about this project and can’t wait to begin voting in December!
