Flagler’s Legacy

In 1998, Flagler SIFE started a tour business of our historic campus. The idea grew into Flagler’s Legacy, Flagler SIFE’s student-run retail enterprise with two stores and an online shop. 35 students serve more than 70,000 visitors annually. Additionally, 1,400 elementary students participate in the Flagler’s Legacy Gateway to Success program focusing on entrepreneurship and success skills.
What It Means To Our Community: According to the Saint Augustine Bureau of Tourism, for every dollar spent on our tours, six dollars is spent at a local restaurant, retail store, or hotel. The impact of the 70,000 Flagler’s Legacy visitors on the local economy is approximately 2.9 million dollars annually. Visit the Flagler’s Legacy online store here.
